My first finished artwork of 2024! This was a practice piece based off of WLOP’s “Saber Lily” artwork. He made a tutorial of his process making the piece so i wanted to give it a shot with my own illustration. I chose to draw my character Zhena in an open field. The artwork ended up reminding me of a song called “Into Dust” by Paris Blohm which I think fits her character really well.
I am currently not very happy with the state of my art. I feel like I could do so much better, but I am not there yet. I wish to improve my skills but I lack the time to fully commit to improving at the moment, so I just try my best with the time I do have. My art style has not been very consistent, but I think that’s okay. I am still learning.
