First drawing of 2025!!
My first drawing of 2025 is of my character Viktor! The title of this piece is “Complex Pulsar,” which is Viktor’s title in The Dreamwalkers. Each member of the band has a title. They were created mostly for fun, but they still represent each member! Akane’s is “Melodic Moon” and Gianni’s is “Burning Star.”
Anyway, this drawing was honestly just made so I can draw Viktor in a badass pose, showing off his tattoo and cybernetic arm. I seem to have a hard time coming up with outfits for him, but this time I was inspired by Kerry Eurodyne’s main outfit in Cyberpunk 2077. Something with a rockstar vibe, which I think totally works. Safe to say this is my new favorite drawing of Viktor. I really like the colors and atmosphere of it – I just think it represents Viktor’s character perfectly.
On another note, I recently heard that Glaze apparently doesn’t really work. As in, it’s already super easy to “reverse” the effects of glazed artworks. So… that sucks. I guess I won’t go through the trouble of using it anymore, especially since I still cant get Nightshade to run. At this point, I just accept there’s not much I can do to protect my art from AI. Not like this is a new battle for artists – we’ve had to deal with art theft and all sorts of other infringements since the beginning of the internet. So I’ll just stick to only sharing a lower resolution JPG copy of my illustrations online. At least I’ll know my original artworks are safe and sound on my SSDs. Anyway, happy new year! Let’s hope I can make more art this year than last year. XD

omg no taurie, u drew him perfect!! especially considering u didnt have much references of him! fan art doesnt have to be 100% accurate anyway XD also his species is descendant from dragons, so yeah a little bit of a reptile :3

I wouldn’t give up so easily on Glaze! Apparently from what I’m seeing most people trying to say Glaze and Nightshade don’t work are AI bros who are trying to get people to stop using them, because they DO work. In fact OpenAI accidentally admitted that they work by mentioning in an interview that they are always looking for ways to make its systems “more robust against this type of abuse.” How would using them be “abuse” if they didn’t work? :)
