My two favorite characters in one artwork, YAY! ^-^
Here’s a pretty sketchy drawing I did of Gianni and Akane, posing for a little photo shoot! (Viktor is taking the photos of course.) I honestly feel bad calling them my favorite OCs cause I just love all of mine so much for so many different reasons, but honestly… these two are definitely up there. I can’t believe how Akane and Gianni have existed for I think over 5 years now… they have changed, evolved, and grown SOO much as characters and it genuinely makes me so happy!
When I first made Akane, she was 15. I wrote in her original reference sheet that she wants to be a singer and that her future band would be The Dreamwalkers. I had that name and concept in my head before I even knew who the band’s other members would be. Now, she’s 21 years old and her dreams have become a reality. Isn’t that just so sweet?
As for Gianni, he has changed so much over the years. He started off as this troubled kid who got picked up by the criminal-corp The Black Diamonds because he had no where else to turn to. Now he’s a rockstar fighting to dismantle the system the very corpos he worked for ride on. He’s learned the meaning of real family, and what it means to protect them. (Finally, Viktor’s advice passed through his thick skull.)
This is so great to see! It’s so sweet that you’ve had your characters for so long and grew their stories so far. All your ideas and stories are truly amazing, I just know one day these stories will be an incredible book/series 💜
