Here’s a funny story about this piece. It was late at night and I was getting ready to sleep after experiencing a random excruciating headache. I was sad cause I missed out on my evening plans, trying to rest and recover. Well, eventually the pain passed and I had this random thought of drawing a guinea pig decorated as a cake… a guinea cake!
I immediately grabbed my sketchbook and drew down my idea. I thought I’d digitalize it the next day or so, but I couldn’t resist the late night energy to draw! So I got up and made this drawing :3
I was listening to emo rock and death metal while I drew my guinea cake, which I thought was honestly kind of hilarious. So I gave it a little speech bubble that says “I <3 death metal” XD
This drawing was super random but super fun. I felt a bit like I did as a young kid, drawing random cute doodles on paper and coloring them in with markers. I want to draw more things like this guinea cake in the future. I also might make this into a sticker cause I think it’d fit perfectly on my laptop. Let me know if you’d want one as a sticker too! :3
