and some photos of my late night messy workspace
im working on a photoshop piece consisting so far of four drawing studies (although you can only see two in these photos, blep) all the figures are fighting in dynamic poses. i used photo references to draw my characters in: eden and viktor sparring each other, and gianni and ze fighting side by side with their guns. i realized how long its been since i did any figure studies so i picked out some poses that i could use to draw my ocs in because thats what makes it more fun and personal to me. i typically procrastinate on doing studies consistently because they are impersonal and bland, unless the subject of the study is interesting or such. but when i do figure studies, i always try to draw my ocs in them. it will take more time obviously, because you need to draw a specific person’s likeness and give them appropriate clothes (or not, LOL) but i think its worth it. in the end, i spend time drawing my beloved characters while learning new things, and sometimes its a good opportunity to draw an oc ive been neglecting. anyway, i included the refences within the piece. i want to add more details to the blank space in the canvas, so i plan on adding short captions under each figure and maybe some graphic design elements. a flashy, fun title and some icons. i think ill keep the figures uncolored and the rest will be in greyscale with one accent color. we’ll see. stay tuned to see more of this piece! :3
