Turning Nyan Cat into a Cute Rainbow Minecraft House
Nyan Cat is a classic internet meme, and at this point, a legendary internet icon!!
I love Nyan Cat to this day so I decided to make a Nyan Cat themed Minecraft house for fun!
I wanted it to be super colorful, rainbow, and cute. At the same time, I knew I had a lot of space to fill, so I had to get creative. I also made sure to keep in mind functionality, in case the house would be used for survival mode.
I also made a Nyan Cat hotbar texture pack, just as I did after making my Pusheen Minecraft house.
I’d like to give you a tour of the house and show you my Nyan Cat hotbar texture pack that I made for the occasion :3 If you want an in-depth look at the entire house, you can watch my house tour video on YouTube!
House Tour
The Nyan Cat house in all its glory, with the blue starry sky and hotbar texture pack!
The Nyan Cat house in the day. I placed the house on a floating island in an amplified world.
Under the Nyan Cat is a little rainbow pool with a lounge area!
The entrance of the house is in between Nyan’s front paws.
After climbing the stairs, you are at the foyer with a small closet.
Past the foyer, there’s the ultra colorful rainbow living room!
Here is the sitting area; across the wall is the TV.
To the left of the foyer is the enchanting room.
The loft is where the storage room is.
Past the living room is the kitchen area! Here, you will also find the dining room and mini brewing station with a netherwart farm. If you notice the Nyan Cat kitty, keep reading! That’s another texture pack you can download. :)
The brewing station, currently operated by the Nyan Cat kitty.
The kitchen and dining room.
Once you climb the staircase past the kitchen, you will enter the cozy yet cluttered bedroom! There is a giant skylight on the ceiling and plenty of small decorations and storage.
The House at Night
One of my favorite parts of the house is the starry night skylights. Especially this one in the bedroom.

Extra Nyan Cat stuff!
Thank you for looking through my house tour! I have a few more goodies to show you. :D
This download comes with the hotbar texture pack too!

The Peculiar History of Nyan Cat
While in the process of writing this post, I came across the history of Nyan Cat, which is actually quite interesting!
I’d like to share with you a few fun facts about Nyan Cat. :3
The idea of Nyan Cat came from a livestream video chat where two different chatters suggested Nyan Cat creator Christopher Torres to draw a ‘Pop Tart’ and a ‘cat.’
Just then, Torres created the hybrid that would become Nyan Cat.
Christopher Torres posted the original animated Nyan Cat gif in April 2011.
Nyan Cat was originally posted to YouTube by “saraj00n,” three days after the original gif was posted.
The original version of the “Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya!” song featured in Nyan Cat’s video was sung by Hatsune Miku.
Later on, the song was covered by Momone Momo.
This cover was used to create the famous Nyan Cat video.
I hope you enjoyed reading my post about Nyan Cat! Thanks so much for sticking around. :)
love,

Hi! I stumbled across your video on Youtube about creating your own website and I followed the link in the description to yours! First of all, that Nyan Cat tool/xp bar UI is so cute! I love that! I also have the Hatsune Miku game that has the original Nyan Cat song in it as a playable level, I love telling people about the trivia of the original music source!
Secondly, I’d like to express that seeing your website and that video has inspired me to make my own website! Something akin to the old days of browser based gaming… I see your website hosts your art, and while I draw, I also like computers and would like to combine those interests! Websites are so cool in concept like explained in your video, and yours is pretty rad! Thank you for being yourself because it’s certainly inspired me to do what I want with what I enjoy!
